Meet Dr. Aikens

Dr. Aikens, a native of St. Louis, MO, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with specialties in HIV Medicine, Correctional Healthcare, Men’s Health, and preventative care. He brings over twenty years of clinical practice experience in various settings including academics, inpatient and outpatient medicine, and administration. Dr. Aikens graduated from Clark Atlanta University and Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Aikens enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, interior design and watching football. At AvitaCare Atlanta, and throughout his career, Dr. Aikens’ mission has been to provide comprehensive, individualized care with compassion, dignity, and respect.
