Our American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM) and board-certified providers have provided more than 20 years of care in HIV treatment and prevention. With state-of-the-art technology, our expert staff can diagnose, consult, and treat all infectious diseases, including HIV, hepatitis, STIs, hospital-related infections, and more.
We are committed to helping transgender and gender-nonconforming patients be their authentic selves through care programs such as gender affirming hormone therapy, surgical referrals, behavioral health services, and self-injection training. In addition to our comprehensive in-house services, we partner with local LGBTQ+ support organizations to provide supplemental transgender and gender-nonconforming resources to our patients so they can feel safe and empowered within their community.

Many of our patients need assistance beyond physical health and wellness visits. To bridge the gap between everyday concerns and provider visits, our onsite social worker provides our patients with an array of education and assistance services including but not limited to: Medicare, COBRA, and other insurance coverage explanations, locating community resources within Atlanta, and helping to navigate essential needs like housing and nutrition.
We see case management as a collective effort to assess, plan, facilitate, and evaluate each patient’s unique health and care needs. Our case managers go above and beyond to educate and communicate with patients in addition to guiding their comprehensive wellness through referral management, care planning, post discharge planning, and coordinate transition of care post-hospital discharge.
Nutrition plays a vital role in managing health and wellness. We provide a full spectrum of services, including nutrition counseling, diabetes education, group classes, healthy cooking demonstrations, personalized health assessments, and meal planning. Whether members want to improve their overall health or need help managing a more serious medical condition, we are here to help.
AvitaCare Atlanta has a full-service Avita Pharmacy conveniently located within the clinic that can meet your general pharmacy needs in addition to prescriptions and care for complex conditions. We provide compassionate, individually focused care and a wealth of services to support patients including discreet delivery options, easy text or online refill requests, financial assistance, counseling, and more.
Our staff of experienced and registered providers administer and aid patients with transfusions, IV antibiotics, and other types of IV treatments in a safe, comfortable, and relaxing outpatient setting. Our onsite pharmacy can provide supportive medications for many conditions that can be treated with infusion therapy.
Beyond actual treatments, our experienced infusion team provides one‐on‐one specialized education for members and their families on their specific needs if home IV therapy is necessary. Our goal is to prevent any at-home complications and set our patients up for success outside of the clinic.
