Alene completed her undergraduate degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and her Master of Public Health degree at Georgia State University. She has worked as a dietitian for over 20 years and has been in her current position for 15 years. She loves being a dietitian for AvitaCare Atlanta because she enjoys working with patients and staff. Alene is passionate about helping people understand how nutrition impacts their health and how they can make sustainable and realistic changes. She believes individuality and preferences should be respected as there is no one-size-fits-all approach to eating well.
